2024 Scholarship Recipients

Mountain Lakes Board of REALTORS^® is proud to announce the 2024 Scholarship Winners who each received a $2,000 Scholarship.  These funds will be sent directly to the college or university of their choice to be used in the pursuit of their educational goals beginning this fall.

Applications for the scholarships are available annually to graduating high school students from Cherokee, Clay or Graham Counties along with Nantahala High Sschol and Home Schooled students who demonstrate academic strength, leadership, community involvement and financial need. 

Special thanks to John Poltrock, Michelle Morgan, Mark Stalcup, Michele Schaack & Lee Beal who had the difficult task of sorting through applications from many outstanding and very worthy students.

The winners are in random order:

Lindsey Batts

Lindsey Batts is graduating from Robbinsville High School with plans to attend Western Carolina University to pursue her education as a Dentist.

Graham Burch

Graham Burch is graduating from Andrews High School with plans to attend Western Carolina University to pursue his education in Civil Engineering.

Jacen Carver

Jacen Carver is graduating from Nantahala School with plans to attend Western Carolina University to pursue his education in Business Administration & Law.

Amanda Fleischer

Amanda Fleischer is graduating from Tri-County Early College with plans to attend Young Harris College to pursue her education in Biology to become a Veterinarian.

Molly Rogers

Molly Rogers is graduating from Murphy High School with plans to attend the University of North Georgia to pursue her education in Biology to become an Occupational Therapist.
