Mountain Credit Union has proudly served the people of Western North Carolina since 1963. Originally founded to serve federal employees, we have grown through partnerships, community support, and mergers with other credit unions that expanded our reach across the region.
In 2004, we received a Community Charter allowing us to serve anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in our region. Today our
charter includes twelve counties across Western North Carolina.
With branches in Waynesville, Fletcher, Franklin, Cherokee, Sylva, Candler, and Murphy, Mountain Credit Union continues to provide convenient
access to trusted financial services while staying true to the values we were founded on.
